The winter ski area is connected via the connecting lifts Golden Gate
to the Glacier lift as standard with the two glacier ski areas, so you
can reach up to 3,340 m right from the village to Skiernzum glacier.
From the black edge on Rettenbachgletscher the longest descent with approx. 15 km and a vertical drop of 1,900 m to the valley.

BEST VIEWPOINTS
- BIG3 Black blade (3,340 m): Black from the mountain station of the 8EUB cutting edge 15 min. (90 meters altitude) to ascend on foot to nature platform. Looking up at over 100 km (Dolomites, Marmolada, Ortler, Zugspitze)
- BIG3 Tiefenbachkogl (3,250 m): directly at the mountain station of the 8EUB Tiefenbach is the cantilevered panorama ridge that extends beyond 20 m, the wild peak (3,776 m) - the highest mountain in Tyrol is comming grasp
- BIG3 Gaislachkogl (3,048 m): directly at the mountain station of the Gaislachkoglebahn to befidnet the ellypsenförmige viewing platform, accessible for pedestrians.
- Rotkogelhütte (2,660 m) at the hub of the ski between Giggijoch and the glacier connection and offers a wonderful view of the Rettenbachgletscher and the north side of the Gaislachkogl with its countless freeride descents.
