WINTER HIKING TRAILS - OETZ AND SAUTENS

RED WANDL

> Follow the path through the woods to the viewpoint "Red WANDL" to over 2,000 m - - In Hochoetz -> right after the mountain station Acherkoglbahn to the left -> through the underpass to the children's area> the same path back to the starting point.

ELSINGER TRAIL: PIBURGER SEE - Piburg

Turn left after the carpenter - - From the center of Oetz across Piburger along the forest trail (Elsinger way) up to Piburger lake. Along the left bank to the hamlet Piburg. Way back along the road to Oetz.

Duration: 2 h

ELSINGER TRAIL: Habichen

Turn left after the carpenter - - From the center of Oetz across Piburger along the forest trail (Elsinger Trail) to Kohlstatt. About the "Randweg" to Habichen and back to Oetz.

Duration: 1.5 h

ANDREAS HOFER TRAIL

From the center of Oetz along the Ötztal Ache river to the crossroads, then you have three options: a) turn left, through the woods to the hamlet of Habichen and back to Oetz b) straight ahead to Weller bridge, thence through the woods to the Habichen back to Oetz. c) straight ahead to Weller bridge, on to the lake and Piburger Piburg (initially a bit steep path) way back along the road to Oetz

TOWN TRAIL

From your accommodation you can explore the scenic villages (Haiming's Oetztal Bahnhof, Sautens, Oetz, Tumpen) on the easy and well-prepared winter hiking trails of Haiming about Sautens to Tumpen.

MEDINGER-WAY ROUND: SAUTENS - OETZ - SAUTENS

From Information Sautens or Oetz along Medinger way to Oetz / Sautens and again on the other side of the Ache back to Sautens / Oetz.

Duration: 1 hour

THREE CHURCH LOOK ROUND

From Information Sautens past the church to the three-church view - from there through the forest on the outskirts of Sautens - then on the village road back to the village center

Duration: 1 hour

SAUTENS - Haderlehn - PIBURGER SEE

Starting point: Above the Church of Sautens - (above school) along the toboggan run - driveway after Haderlehn to the holiday Haderlehn - change on forest road. This trail continues to Piburg. Return via the Elsingerweg to Oetz - Beerweg - Sautens or same route back again

WINTER TRAILS HAIMING-OCHSENGARTEN

OCHS kindergartener LOOP TRAIL

Starting point: Sattele above Ochs Garden Follow the gently rising forest path to Feldringalm (is also simultaneously the bobsleigh). Continue through the level Feldringer floors with connecting trail to Marlstein and from there back to Sattele.

Duration: 4 h

FOREST ROAD TO MARL STONE

Starting point: Sattele above Ochs Garden Proceed immediately to the right at the first fork in the woods to the hamlet Marlstein. Then it's back on the same route. The path is not constantly groomed.

OCHS kindergartener WINTER HIKE

Starting point: Elementary school Ochs Garden - on the left side of the valley towards Kühtai - crossing the main road and the Nederbachs 1.5 km - on the right side of the valley back to ox garden. Entry-level versions: next to the ski lift in Balbach Ochs Garden, opposite the inn Burkert or opposite Gasthof Waldesruh

APPLE ROAD HAIMING

From the municipal office Haiming (670 m) to Magerbach on the Apple Road to Silz. Return via Pirchetwald to Haiming.

HAIMING - Schlierenzau - HAIMING

From the municipal office Haiming (670 m) above Unterriedern after Riedern - from there over the suspension bridge to Schlierenzau - along the Inn Valley cycle path back to Haiming.

NEW TRACKS IN THE SNOW FROM HOCHOETZ.

The ski Hochoetz is a real paradise for all fans of the snowshoe. Gentle slopes, steep slopes. High mountains, vast marches. Stunning natural beauties that inspire. And then the refreshments. Or the return: A cup of tea or hot chocolate drink in one of the pastures, or huts, tired, happy and reconciled in an indescribable way with the world.

Snowshoeing is easy to learn and the sporting goods industry has ensured that the traditional walking aids were perfected in terms of weight, materials used and functionality. Of course, you can rent snowshoes and poles in the ski Hochoetz and find - if desired - professional companion for this quiet winter sports fun. Weekly guided day and evening snowshoe hikes - Information and registration at the local tourist office.

EVERY MONDAY EVENING SNOW SHOE WALK

Equipped with headlamps discover the breathtaking winter landscape of oxen. We will guide you through the snowy forest, over a white carpet of snow crystals. Above you, the stars twinkle. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere and the soft crackle under your snowshoes. In a warming tea we finish the evening comfortably.

EVERY WEDNESDAY DAY HIKE SNOW SHOE

Let's go into the alpine terrain, with fantastic views of the surrounding mountain landscape. We walk away from the busy slopes, through snowy forests and fields and enjoying the rest of us. With snowshoes nature developed its own dynamics for the observer. An intense experience of a special kind TIP: Bring a camera or binoculars!
